Xin chào!

So day 2 out was great as the weather turned better. From the past few trips I had, it seems like I had some affinity with wet weather. Just like how it is a must to rain whenever I do my laundry.

There were 3 main attractions that we visited, Cau Dat Tea Plantation, Linh Phuoc Pagoda, and Vườn Hoa Cẩm Tú Cầu (Hydrangea Farm). We hired a private tour guide under Dalat Open Tours that brought us around at the rate of 2,000,000 VND / 2 days, 8 am — 5 pm. They were chosen amidst the vast amount of enquired rates we received back, based on cost and attentiveness, having been the only tour operator who replied back with a newly proposed itinerary. It felt endearing to have someone having your interest at heart.

  1. Cau Dat Tea Plantation

Green Tea plantation, got a nice cafe to chill and admire the view there. Essentially a great place to take Instagram worthy shots with the vast green tea fields in the background. But right, hot sia since it is just the direct sun rays blasting down on your face without any shelter.

2. Linh Phuoc Pagoda
Just like how you got to visit a shrine in Japan, you got to visit a pagoda in Vietnam. Linh Phuoc Pagoda is a Buddhist shrine, meticulously pieced from glass bottles and pottery shards. It was nice to slow down to admire the art and do some praying. Heck, it has been ages since I last prayed, losing touch with my religion liao.

Anyways, Linh Phuoc Pagoda is also well known for its 7-floor bell tower. Prior to climbing up, there is a bell tower on the 1st floor, where you sound the bell three times and pray for health and happiness. Then up you go, through the narrow flight of stairs. I was quite nervous when I look down from the 7-floor, you know the illogical fear that you accidentally plunge to death over the ralling. But I had my dad and Mr yeo who were scared of height so somehow I felt like a brave soul standing out there looking down for a few minutes.

3. Vườn Hoa Cẩm Tú Cầu (Hydrangea Farm)
Last stop of the day. We realized that there is actually no need to make a trip to a hydrangea farm when you can see it in the whole city. But well, we only knew it when we got there. Dalat city is decorated with flowers, so if you got a mum or aunt who loves flowers, hell yeah can bring them to Dalat to gai gai.

Ok la, good thing about going to hydrangea farms means you could get nice photos. Managed to get a cute photo of mr yeo ❤

Mr Yeo posing for me ❤

I only wish I never knew that the base price of hydrangea. One hydrangea ball (refer to below photo) is priced at only SGD1++, which means a hydrangea bouquet perhaps made from 2–3 hydrangea balls base price is around SGD5??

*Heart pain sia*

But hey, nothing is as romantic as receiving flowers, which are symbolic of romance. When you are giving your sig half a bouquet of flowers, you are saying that making your other half smile was, by itself, worth spending money on a gift. So to guys who want to give practical gifts on romantic occasions, maybe you guys wanna think again?

Ok so that concludes day 2. bye,
